History of the Faculty of Dentistry
The Faculty of Dentistry at Rahnaward University officially commenced its academic operations in 2014 (1393 SH) alongside the university’s other faculties, following the formal decree of the Ministry of Higher Education of Afghanistan.

The Faculty of Stomatology at Rahnaward University is determined to train talented professionals and specialists in the field of dentistry to effectively address the healthcare needs of our country’s citizens.

Educational System
The Faculty of Stomatology operates under the Credit System, fully aligned with the curriculum of the Faculty of Stomatology at Kabul Medical University.
- Theoretical Lectures: Delivered via PowerPoint presentations utilizing modern educational technology.
- Practical Training: Conducted in separate small groups within state-of-the-art laboratories and the Rahnaward Hospital under the supervision of experienced professors.
- Academic Calendar: In accordance with the Ministry of Higher Education regulations, each semester spans 16 weeks. Mid-term examinations are administered at the end of the 8th week, followed by final examinations at the conclusion of the 16th week.
